Rachakonda police rescue one more Uzbek woman

The police also arrested three persons including a man working as a labourer in the film industry.

Hyderabad:Two days after an Uzbek woman was rescued from flesh trade in Saifabad, another 26-year-old Uzbek national who was forced into the flesh trade was rescued by the Rachakonda police on Saturday. The police also arrested three persons including a man working as a labourer in the film industry, who were involved in online sex racket while the kingpin based at Delhi, Osman, is absconding.

The arrested persons were identified as Errasni Jogeshwar Rao alias Nani, Lakshmannavari Gopal alias Raghunath Reddy and Kesana Gopal alias Harish. Police recovered Rs 25,000 cash, a car and five mobiles from their possession. The victim who was rescued was overstaying after her visa expired three months ago. Police said that main accused Jogeshwar Rao from East Godavari district in AP, was a professional human trafficker.

“He runs the business only online by uploading semi-nude pictures of the women and luring customers. He has contacts with professionals from other states and pushes models, artistes, foreign women and anchors into the flesh trade,” said a press release from the Rachakonda police. It said he paid his associates an advance amount for five to 10 days and arranges flight tickets for the women.
