Based on the information that two persons visited Sravani's house along with her on Friday, police launched a search for the accused.
The Dharmapuri district police suspect the death of a missing girl to be a case of murder, as her relatives allegedly hushed up the issue and planned to cremate her body without informing the police.
Nellore: Suspecting their role behind the murder of Sravani on Friday, Chillakur police held her husband Ashok and Mounika, with whom he had an illicit relationship, and her mother Padmavathi on Saturday. It may be recalled that railway employee Sravani was brutally killed in Oduru at her home on Friday. Some unidentified persons slit her throat and eliminated her. Based on the information that two persons visited Sravani’s house along with her on Friday, police launched a search for the accused. The two woman locked the house after murdering Sravani and informed Ashok.
