Hyderabad: A two-month-old boy was kidnapped by an unidentified lady in Bandlaguda under Chandrayangutta police station limits.
The incident took place on Wednesday evening and was reported to the police on Thursday after a search for the missing baby.
According to the Chandrayangutta police, the infant was playing with his brother Mohsin at his house when their mother went out on some work.
Chandrayangutta inspector G. Koteshwar Rao said, “At around 8.45 pm, an unidentified woman came to the house and asked Mohsin to accompany her to the hospital as their mother wanted them there. She took the baby in her arms and asked Mohsin, 8, to bring something. When Mohsin went to fetch the said item, she escaped with baby.”
The police have registered a missing case and are searching for the missing baby. They are checking the CCTV footage in the surroundings. After finding some clues and movement of the lady, the police are sure that they will find the baby within 24 hours.
