Hyderabad: IT raids on old city realtors

Hyderabad: Sleuths of the Income Tax department on Wednesday conducted searches of the houses belonging to three realtors in the Old City area, sources said. The raids were launched simultaneously by three teams at Shastripuram, Falaknuma and Tolichowki area. Officials are tight lipped about the ongoing searches. However, sources said that the officials had examined various documents pertaining to the businesses and land transactions. The searches were continuing till the reports last came in. Sources in the Income Tax department said that they were carrying out routine verification.
