Hyderabad: A 50-year-old woman who was arrested for beating an eight-year-old boy for playing in her auto was convicted and jailed for six months by the Twentieth Metropolitan Magistrate Court on Tuesday.
Neredmet inspector A. Narsimha Reddy said that the accused V. Soujanya, 50, a resident of Rambrahma Nagar in Neredmet, was booked on charges of injuring an eight-year-old boy.
Soujanya was allegedly beating the child regularly and had caused injuries to him. Based on the complaint of the boy’s mother D Ashwini, the accused woman was booked.
