Hyderabad: Rachakonda Special Operations Team sleuths arrested an absconding member of the Chaddi gang of Gujarat on Tuesday. The accused, Khaju Mavoji, had gone absconding after obtaning bail in 2011 and was now caught, said the police.
Rachakonda police commissioner Mahesh Bhagwat said that in 2011, the LB Nagar police had arrested Khaji Mavoji on charges of burglaries. After obtaining bail from the court, Mavoji went absconding. On receiving information, the SOT sleuths rushed to Garbada in Gujarat and arrested him on Tuesday. He was produced in a court there and brought to the city on a transit warrant.
“We are very confident of apprehending Parmar Megzi and Parmar Sanjay, who are absconding,” said the official.
