Hyderabad: A businessman from Santoshnagar was cheated by a fake baba of Rs 35 lakh. Police said Disco Baba cheated Iftikhar Hussain claiming that he can create gold and diamonds through pujas.
The Baba told Hussain that he can create diamonds and gold. Believing him, Hussain gave him Rs 35 lakh to perform puja and produce jewellery. After puja, Disco Baba gave Hussain fake gold and diamond jewellery.
Later, after getting exposed, the Baba agreed to return the money. But he never paid Hussain. Police registered a cheating case.
