Man caught for posting obscene pics of ex-colleague

Their friendship turned into love and they had a physical relationship and took pictures, said the official.

Hyderabad: A 24-year-old Burmese native was caught by the Rachakonda cyber crime police on Saturday for stalking, threatening and sending explicit content over social media to his ex colleague, also a native of Burma in Myanmar.

“Mohammed Anwar, a private employee residing in Balapur, has migrated from Myanmar (Rohingya) and had previously worked at an organisation in Bandlaguda as a translator, where he came in contact with a girl who was his co-worker. She was also a refugee from Myanmar,” inspector of police, Cyber Crime, Rachakonda D. Jalender Reddy said.

“Their friendship turned into love and they had a physical relationship and took pictures,” said the official.

Subsequently, in July 2018, the girl’s parents performed her marriage with Ali Akbar Anayth Husain who is also a Rohingya presently working in Canada.

Anwar since then bore a grudge against her and has been posting intimate selfies clicked by them to defame her character.

He then sent the abusive and nude photos to her husband’s WhatsApp number and also created a fake Facebook account in the name of Mohammed Haneef and uploaded the objectionable photos of the girl on it,” said the official.

He added that Anwar was traced at Balapur and was arrested and sent to judicial custody.
