Hyderabad: As many as 14 passengers travelling by an RTC bus were injured at Hayathnagar on Thursday when the bus rammed a truck running ahead of it.
According to police, the bus from Suryapet depot was heading for Hyderabad with around 25 passengers. An empty truck ran ahead of it. When the vehicles reached Batasingaram village under Hayathnagar police station limits, the bus driver lost control and rammed the vehicle on the truck from behind.
“The truck was moving at normal speed, but the bus driver lost control of his vehicle. The injured were treated and discharged from a hospital,” police said.
A case of rash and negligent driving was registered against the bus driver by officials.
