Hyderabad: A 24-year-old man who had been sexually harassing a 20-year-old, attacked her with a knife in RR district on Tuesday. Shiva Kumar attacked Sunitha, while she was working in the fields with parents.
Police said that Sunitha was pursuing graduation in Amangal town, and Shiva Kumar proposed to her. But she rejected him. He continued to harass her. She informed her parents and they warned him but he did not change. They later got her to discontinue college, and she pursued graduation in the distance mode. On Tuesday, Shiva Kumar attacked her with a knife. As she collapsed he fled. When other farmers tried to catch him he threatened them and fled. Sunitha was rushed to a hospital in the city where she is critical. An attempt to murder case was registered at Kesampet police station.
