Telangana: ACB catches mandal parishad development officer red handed

MPDO T. Upender was caught in his office while accepting a bribe of Rs 25,000.
Upender was caught red handed and the bribe was recovered from his left pant pocket. He was arrested and will be produced in ACB court.
Hyderabad: The mandal parishad development officer of Narsimhulupeta in Mahbubabad district was caught red handed by ACB on Tuesday. He was caught in his office while accepting a bribe of Rs 25,000.
MPDO T. Upender was working at Narsimhulupeta. He demanded a bribe of Rs 25,000 from one Veeranna, working as a senior mate with the National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme, for forwarding his application for promotion as field assistant.
Upender was caught red handed and the bribe was recovered from his left pant pocket. He was arrested and will be produced in ACB court.
