Five rowdy sheeters expelled from Vijayawada

The five were involved in a series of criminal activities over a period of time and were arrested and sent to jail but failed to mend ways

Vijayawada: Five rowdy sheeters were expelled from Vijayawada for causing breach to maintenance of law and order and affecting the normal life in the city.

Vijayawada police commissioner Kanthi Rana Tata issued orders accordingly here on Saturday. They were identified as Bevara Srinu alias Pilla Srinu, Macharla Bala Swamy alias Pandu, Banavathu Srinu Naik, Mallavarapu Vijay Kumar alias Masalam and Katla Kali.

The five were involved in a series of criminal activities over a period of time and were arrested and sent to jail and failed to mend their ways even after release from the jail. Since they may cause law and order problem, they were expelled from the NTR district police commissionerate limits.

Two more rowdy sheeters, Thummala Manoj and Mataparthi Durga Prasad were in expulsion and with the addition of five, a total of seven rowdy sheeters were expelled from the city so far.

The CP said that they were keeping close vigil on those who were involving criminal activities and warned that they would be expelled from the city if they failed to change their attitude.
