BENGALURU: The Koramangala police and their counterparts from the traffic department are on the lookout for a pervert who was half naked hips down driving a red car and allegedly made obscene gestures and flashed his private parts to a minor duo.
The incident took place around 5.30 pm in Koramanagala 3rd Block on Monday. A 17-year-old and her friend were returning home after shopping when the pervert called her.
Thinking that the driver seated in the red car wanted to ask about an address, the girl walked towards him. But the man, who was naked below his waist, allegedly asked the girl for oral sex. The girl quickly walked away and noted down the registration number of the red car.
The girl told her father, who is a doctor about the incident, and he lodged a complaint. Such perverts should be punished, demanded the girl’s father, a paediatric surgeon.
The police said that a team visited the spot on Tuesday and obtained he CCTV footage. But nothing substantial was retrieved. The police are, however, hopeful that the miscreant will be nabbed soon as they have the car’s registration number given by the complainant, the police said.
A case under POCSO has been registered in Koramangala police station and a manhunt has been launched to nab the pervert.
