Hyderabad: LB Nagar police has arrested five juvenile boys for harassing a 16-year-old boy, who committed suicide on March 30.
The victim was allegedly harassed by his seniors after they found him creating a Facebook account on his teacher’s name and posting explicit content on her page.
According to the police, the victim, who just completed his SSC from a school in LB Nagar, committed suicide on March 30 and a suspicious death case was registered. A few days later, his parents came to know from his friends that their son was harassed by his seniors. They approached Rachakonda commissioner Mahesh Bhaga-wat seeking a detailed inquiry. The commissioner ordered LB Nagar ACP to inquire into the suspicious death of the boy.
After inquiry, the police found that the boy had created a fake Facebook profile on one of his school teacher’s name and started posting explicit content on the page. He sent friend requests to all the students, who were shocked by explicit content on the page. They found a mobile number on the page and traced the number to the victim. They caught him and forced him to remove the content and delete the page even before the teacher knew about it.
