Sasikala asked for help back in 2014: Family

Sasikala's messages also alleged that her in-laws were part of a “conspiracyâ€against her.

Hyderabad: Narra Sasikala, the techie who was found murdered in New Jersey, US, sent messages seeking help three years ago, her family has said.

Sasikala’s brother, Sunkara Vijaya Bhaskar, said his sister was increasingly troubled with husband Hanumantha Rao’s alleged affair.

In her messages to family in India, Sasikala alleged that Rao was in love with a colleague and that he would spend hours chatting with her. She wrote that she would cry all day.

“I am crying like anything daily. Sometimes, I feel like dying but after seeing Anish (her son) face, I am surviving (sic),” excerpts from the messages — released by her brother — read.

Sasikala’s messages also alleged that her in-laws were part of a “conspiracy” against her.

But it remains unclear if the police in the US has accessed the messages released by the victim’s brother.

It has also emerged that Sasikala was trying to get her parents to the US. According to her mother, Sunkara Krishna Kumari, the techie had been asking her to stay in the US with her for some time. Kumari said she had agreed and added that her daughter had started the visa process.

The mother claimed her daughter was having frequent quarrels with her husband over the alleged affair he was having with a colleague.

The mother on Saturday added that the family was currently trying to reach out to officials investigating the two murders through the US embassy in Hyderabad.
