Hyderabad: Drunk pals kill buddy over Rs 500
Hyderabad: In a horrific incident, a gang of five friends who were utterly drunk, got into a fight and in an inebriated state, killed one of their buddies under Nampally police station limits.
The deceased was identified as Ayyub Ali Khan, 21 years. “Ayyub Ali Khan had a throat operation three months back and had a pipe fixed in his throat by doctors to help him to breathe. The deceased had a five hundred rupee note with him and the friends wanted that money. When he refused to give it to them, they got into a fight with him, in the course of which the pipe in his throat got damaged and Ayyub died,” said Srikanth Reddy, Sub Inspector, Nampally.
The body was shifted to Osmania General Hospital for a post mortem.
Those who were involved in the alleged murder are reported to be absconding. A case under 304 (2) (Whoever causes the death of any person by doing any rash or negligent act not amounting to Culpable Homicide shall be punished as per law) section has been booked and an investigation has been launched by police officials.
