Hyderabad: 4 nabbed for making oil from animal waste
Hyderabad: The Hayathnagar police on Thursday arrested four persons who were involved in making edible oils from animal waste procured from slaughterhouses in the city. Last Sunday, the police found a huge dump of animal wastes being dried up in an open land in Pasumamula village.
Attan Bhai, the owner of the land, had leased out the land to Raheem, who is involved in manufacturing edible oils from animal waste. While another accused, Matheen, supplied the vehicle for transporting, Junaid, another accomplice, supervised the whole process.
Hayathnagar Inspector J. Narender Goud said that they used to procure the bones from various slaughterhouses in the city and dried them to extract powder and oils. The police arrested four persons, while the kingpin, Raheem, landowner Attan Bhai, van owner Matheen and supervisor Junaid are absconding.
