Visakhapatnam police bust alleged poker game, seize cash and phones

Visakhapatnam: In a swift operation, a team led by commissioner of police Ravi Shankar and additional commissioner of police Nagendra raided Room No. 301 of GVK Inn, Opposite NRI Hospital in Seethammadhara, and apprehended six individuals engaged in an alleged poker game.

Acting on a tip-off, the police task force, headed by assistant commissioner of police Trinath Rao, conducted the raid and seized substantial evidence, including a total cash sum of '88,950, six cellphones, and a set of playing cards.

The arrested individuals are being investigated for their involvement in illegal gambling activities.
