Hyderabad: CCS arrests two SBI managers for fraud

Following a complaint from Personal Banking Business Unit, SBI, the CCS police arrested the trio.

Hyderabad: Sleuths of the central crime station arrested two SBI managers along with a consultant for colluding with private consultancies and allegedly issuing of fake student education loan sanction letters to those seeking admission into foreign universities.

Bank officials ex-managers Sabavath Lakpathy Shamsheergunj) and Gajjala Vasanth Kumar (Bandlaguda, Nagole) gave their corporate email IDs to private consultant Jonnala Srinivas.

The consultant used the email IDs to prepared 120 education sanctioned letters on behalf of SBI Shamsheergunj and six on the name of SBI Bandlaguda for foreign universities.

Following a complaint from Personal Banking Business Unit, SBI, the CCS police arrested the trio.
