Bengaluru: Serial wife on a roll, 3rd hubby exposes cheat
CHIKKAMAGALURU: A woman in Chikkamagaluru, who is said to have married four men, has been exposed by her third husband, Sharath Kumar. A teacher at a government school, Sharath claimed the woman, Surekha, marries, harasses her husbands by filing false dowry harassment cases, settles the case with money and escapes, only to marry again.
Sharath said Surekha, who hails from Kogre village of Koppa taluk in Chikkamagaluru, first married a film make-up artiste Nagraj, a resident of Rajajinaghar in Bengaluru. The couple had a child before she eloped with Ramesh, a financier and also a resident of Rajajinagar.
Surekha came in contact with Sharath through one of his relatives and they married in 2010. He said his relatives did not know about Surekha’s past until Nagraj narrated the story to him.
Surekha also dumped Sharath and had an affair with an agriculture department officer, who was then in Sringeri. But the affair did not last long and after fleecing him, she is now said to be married to a third-division employee at a pre-university college in Jog of Shivamogga and stays with him at a quarters.
Sharath said he has gathered details about Surekha’s affairs and suspects she has cheated more people. Sharath said that others cheated by Surekha have remained quiet out of shame, but he dared to expose her and lodged a complaint against her at the Jog police station on September 1, while making another complaint with the Shivamogga SP in the first week of this month.
