Missing' Kendriya Vidyalaya students were on Goa holiday

All of the boys were using mobile phones and the police traced their phones to Panaji, Goa, and alerted the local police.

Hyderabad: Four Class IX boys of Kendriya Vidyalaya stole money and gold ornaments from their parents and took off on a pleasure trip to Goa, where they were traced by local police.

According to two complaints lodged with the Uppal and LB Nagar police by the parents, four boys — Sainath Reddy, Nikith, Vijaya Kumar and Saikumar, all of them 14 years old — had gone missing on Tuesday.

“They did not go to school on Tuesday, instead they travelled to Goa by bus. We had started a search following their parents’ complaint,” said Uppal inspector T. Narasimha Reddy, adding that the boys wanted to enjoy a trip without telling their parents.

All of the boys were using mobile phones and the police traced their phones to Panaji, Goa, and alerted the local police.

A team of cops and parents have left for Goa to bring the boys back.
