BJP MP's kin, Telugu Desam leader booked on charges of fraud in Syndicate Bank

The police at Bhimavaram registered a case and started probe.

RAJAHMUNDRY: BJP Narasapuram MP Gokaraju Gangaraju’s younger brother, Gokaraju Venkata Narasimha Raju, and TD senior leader and AP forest development corporation director, Gadiraju Satyanarayana Raju, were booked by the police on charges of raising a loan worth Rs 10 crore by fraudulent means at the Syndicate Bank at Bhimavaram in West Godavari.

According to Bhimavaram Two Town police, DNR College president Mr Gokaraju Venkata Narasimha Raju and DNR college secretary and correspondent Gadiraju Satyanarayana Raju obtained a loan worth Rs 10 crore from Bhimavaram branch of Syndicate bank in 2011, by submitting forged and fake documents on construction of additional buildings for the college. However, based on a complaint by TTD Dharma Prachara Parishad former member Pothuri Anjaneya Raju with the CID, the police at Bhimavaram registered a case and started probe.
