Deputy Tahsildar in ACB net after taking Rs 6 lakh bribe

According to the ACB, K. Anil Kumar, was caught red-handed at his residence at Teachers Colony, Hanamkonda.

Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau on Saturday arrested Deputy Tahsildar of Kazipet mandal in Warangal district for accepted a bribe of Rs 6 lakh.

According to the ACB, K. Anil Kumar, was caught red-handed at his residence at Teachers Colony, Hanamkonda when he demanded and accepted bribe of Rs 6 Lakh from a complainant, Mr Pulluru Sammaiah, for handing over the proceedings related to rectification and restoration of the entries in revenue records in respect of land measuring about 3 acres.
