Hyderabad: A 40-year-old man was arrested on Thursday for sexually exploiting a 14-year-old, the Shainaythgunj police said.
The accused, Narayan Indoria, who runs a chaat shop, was a neighbour of the victim in Jumerat Bazaar. The girl used to visit his shop to purchase chaat. He lured her and sexually exploited her about two years ago and it had been continuing since then, police said. The victim recently fell ill and she narrated the ordeal to her mother, who lodged a complaint with the Shainaythgunj police.
The police registered a case under the POCSO Act and arrested Indoria on Thursday and sent him to judicial custody.
