Hyderabad: Police nabbed a realtor, a junior film artist and a hotel waiter for allegedly carrying heroin. Police said they were trying to sell it near the Chacha Nehru Park. The arrested men are Abdul Kalam, Ibrahim Sayeed and Chand.
Police said Abdul Kalam, 43, a Kadapa- based realtor checked into Hill Park Hotel a few days ago. He befriended one of the waiters Chand and gave him a sachet containing 10 grams of heroin to sell. Chand and his friend Ibrahim Sayeed came to Chacha Nehru Park and were trying to sell it. Police found that Abdul Kalam procured the drug from a person in Kadapa.
“This was just a sample. We are trying to trace the kingpins behind the this racket,” inspector Ravinder said. The three accused were produced before the court and sent to judicial remand. Police is investigating the case using information retrieved from the accused.
