HYDERABAD: A 58-year-old mason, Budidha Sudarshan, who was attacked by his wife and son 11 days back succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment in a private hospital in Ramanthapur on Friday. The case came into light when Sudarshan’s younger brother B. Pentaiah observed injuries on his body and lodged a complaint with Uppal police.
During investigation the police came to know that victim’s wife Gopamma and son Shivakumar had attacked Sudarshan on March 14 with pipes after he refused to go to work, and admitted him in a private hospital.
Shivakumar on Friday called up Pentaiah and stated that Sudarshan had died. Pentaiah rushed to the hospital and noticed injuries on Sudarshan’s body. Shivakumar claimed that Sudarshan had suffered injuries after falling on the road. Pentaiah, however, complained to the police.
