KOZHIKODE: Four men, including a minor boy were arrested by police on Friday for sexually abusing a minor girl in Koduvally. The four of them were produced before Thamarassery magistrate court. They were identified as Vennakkad Thekkeppoyil Saleem (45), Vennakkad Thettummal Muneer (34), Kunnamangalam Choolamvayal Vattapparakkal Rasik (23) and a 16-year-old boy.
According to a complaint filed by the mother of the minor girl, her daughter was lured by the four of them, after gifting her a mobile phone. She complained that the men allegedly took the girl in their car to malls and tried to abuse her sexually. The four of them were nabbed under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. The family had filed a complaint with Childline also regarding the case.
