Hyderabad: A youth suffered serious head injury when an MMTS knocked him down while he was attempting to take a selfie video standing alongside the tracks at Bharat-nagar railway station.

Men are heard in the video calling him out from behind the camera to move away from the tracks. Shiva is also seen telling them to “wait a minute” and continues to smile and pose before the train rammed him.

As the train passed him, he appeared to have got caught in the wind gust generated by the speeding train, a police official said.

On receiving information, RPF personnel reached the spot and shifted him to a hospital where his condition was said to be stable, police said. He received serious injuries on his right hand, head and chest.
