The officials of ACB laid a plan and caught the officer on Tuesday evening while accepting bribe of Rs 4,500
In trap cases, the officer is caught red-handed accepting a bribe. In disproportionate assets cases, raids are conducted on the accused person's properties. The ACB also probes high profile criminal misconduct cases following directions from the government.
Hyderabad: The sleuths of Anti- Corruption Bureau (ACB) laid a trap and caught red-handed K. Sainath, a senior assistant officer with the directorate of government examinations (SSC Board).
On credible information, the officials of ACB laid a plan and caught the officer on Tuesday evening while accepting bribe of Rs 4,500 from a complainant D. Venkat Ramana, a software employee, to correct his son’s name in the latter’s SSC certificate.
The accused was arrested and produced before the ACB court in Hyderabad.
