Two House-breaking Offenders Arrested in Tirupati

Tirupati: The Central Crime Police on Thursday arrested two notorious house-breaking offenders, identified as 28-year-old T. Farooq of Karvetinagaram and 29-year-old A. Penchulaiah of Tirupati. The police have also seized stolen gold ornaments worth Rs. 5.76 lakh from their possession.
According to the police, the two accused were involved in multiple incidents of breaking into houses and stealing valuables in both day and night times in Tirupati and surrounding districts. They had been committing such crimes to fund their lavish lifestyles and various addictions since their childhood.
Following instructions from SP P. Parameswara Reddy, CCS DSP G. Ravi Kumar formed special teams, led by circle inspectors B.V. Srinivasulu, C. Venkatesulu, N. Ravindranath and B. Praveen Kumar and sub inspector Ramu Swamy, to nab the house-breakers. A CCS team acted on a tip-off and caught the duo on Annamaiah Margh on Thursday afternoon. The accused have now been arrested and sent to remand.
