Chennai: A Man was arrested in Adambakkam for sexually harassing a 10-year-old boy on Thursday.
The arrested identified as Vinoth Kumar(28) runs the car water wash shop in Adambakkam.
According to the police, Vinoth Kumar kidnapped a 10-year old boy child who was riding a bicycle in front of her house at Ambedkar Nagar in Adambakkam on Thursday evening.
He took the child to an isolated lane nearby and tried to undo his clothes when the boy screamed he allegedly slapped the boy twice and touched his private parts.
However, after a few minutes, the boy managed to escape from him came crying to his mother and complained the man did indecent things to him.
The boy's parents after confronting it to the man registered a complaint at the Adambakkam police station.
Based on a complaint from a family member of the boy, a case was registered under provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and he was taken in for investigation
Primary inquiries revealed that the man used a pen spy camera to record the incident so that he can threaten and take advantage of the boy.
He was arrested and seized of the pen spy camera.
Later he was produced before Alandhur court and remanded under judicial custody.
