Hyderabad: A 52-year-old labourer died after being hit by a speeding car at NH-163 (Yadadri-Warangal route) on Wednesday night.
According to the police, the victim, Santalal, a resident of Ghatkesar, was crossing the road to enter a vegetable market, when a car coming at a high speed rammed into him.
“As a result, he sustained head injuries and internal fractures. The locals rushed him to a nearby hospital. For better treatment, he was shifted to the Gandhi Hospital where he died while undergoing treatment on Wednesday night,” the police said. The police has registered a case against the car driver.
