A two-and-half-year-old girl child was found dead in Suraram on the outskrits of the city on Wednesday morning. The body was kept inside a travel bag along with a few clothes. The locals found the abandoned bag and when they opened it, they found the baby. Police is yet to confirm if the kid was murdered or died due to illness. The body has been sent for autopsy.
Local police officials said that the body is yet to be identified and parents are yet to be traced. “The bag was found near Suraram cheruvu near the bushes by some locals, who informed us. The kid’s body was tucked into the bag along with some clothes. The parents must have packed the body and abandoned it here. The body has rashes on the skin indicating some kind of illness. The doctors would be able to determine the cause of death after autopsy,” said a police officer from the local police station.
