Visakhapatnam: A woman was raped by a drunk man in public on a busy street near the railway station in Visakhapatnam, but passers-by videographed the crime instead of coming to her help.
A senior police officer said that woman had not eaten for a few days and was very sick when she was lying on the footpath. Shiva was easily able to rape her because she was not in a position to resist.
Police arrested the accused, G. Shiva, 21, a truck driver, on Monday. Though Shiva committed the heinous crime in broad daylight, no one came to aid of the victim.
