Bengaluru: A 22-year-old engineering graduate hanged herself at her room even as her parents were watching TV in the hall, at JP Nagar 6th Phase on Saturday evening,.
The deceased, Sreesha, recently completed her B.E and was looking for a job. She hailed from Andhra Pradesh and was living in the city along with her parents for the last four years.
According to the police, she ended her life between 7.30 pm and 8.30 pm on Saturday. Her family members were sitting and watching TV in the hall when Sreesha committed suicide in her bedroom, the police said.
Sreesha’s parents called her for dinner and when they received no response, they broke open the door to find her hanging.
The exact reason behind her suicide is yet to be known. The Puttenahalli police have registered a case and are investigating.
