Hyderabad: Two security officers working at the Aware Global Hospital in LB Nagar were awarded for being good citizens by Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh Bhagwat for apprehending a chain snatcher.
On August 18, at around 4.30 pm, one Kathraji Pratheep (23), an unemployed man living in Karmanghat was seen moving suspiciously near Aware Global Hospital. The two security guards Mir Wajid Ali and N Ramana Rao saw him loitering near the hospital premises.
“When the security guards tried to stop him, Pratheep tried to escape. They immediately chased and caught him. Pratheep was then handed over to the LB Nagar police,” Bhagwat said.
