Hyderabad: Phone, bike lead police to 2 thieves

Hyderabad: A misplaced mobile phone and an abandoned bike landed two Malakpet youngsters behind bars after the Chaitanyapuri police tracked and apprehended them on Sunday.

The thieves attempted to burgle the house of one K. Bhaskar at Dwarakapur-am, Dilsukhnagar., when he was away.

 

One of the burglars dropped his phone inside the house while escaping. They also abandoned their bike.

Chaitanyapuri inspector S. Sudarshan said investigations revealed the suspects to be Mohammed Ghouse Khan and Owais Ahmed, both 21, of Mal-akpet. Ghouse was an AC mechanic and Owais, a computer operator at the Chaderghat Mee-Seva centre in Chaderghat.

Acting on a tip, the accused were apprehended at Akbar Bagh.
