Bengaluru: Friends stab man to death over trivial row

The police have launched a manhunt to nab the two suspects on the run.

BENGALURU: A 53-year-old labourer was stabbed to death by his two friends over a trivial row near his house in Banshankari II Stage on Sunday night. The police have launched a manhunt to nab the two suspects on the run.

Akram Pasha, a labourer and a resident of Cauvery Nagar II Stage, was friends with the two murderers, Waseem and Imran, both from the same area.

The murder occurred around 11.45 pm when Akram, who was drunk, was returning home, the police said. As he was walking towards his house, he met Waseem and Imran. They soon got into a fight over a trivial issue. Akram shouted at Waseem, while Imran stabbed Akram in the chest and fled.

Neighbours, who heard Akram screaming, rushed him to a nearby hospital, where he died a little later. The police who were alerted arrived at the spot and conducted the investigations.
