Hyderabad: A joy ride turns fatal to a minor, when he took his new bike for a spin on Monday under Chatrinaka police station limits. The victim was identified as C. Sunil Kumar, 16, who is a student.
“The victim was learning to ride a bike when he met with an accident between 4.30 pm and 5.00 pm on Monday. The bike hit the divider killing him on the spot. The victim was on his way from Chandrayangutta to Chatrinaka,” said Manoj Kumar, Chatrinaka police inspector.
The post mortem was done in Osmania Hospital and a case under Section 304 (A) was booked which relates to death due to negligence.
