Two unguarded Indicash ATMs robbed in medak
Hyderabad: Two ATMs of IndiCash were looted in Medak district late on Tuesday. The ATMs did not have any security. SP B. Sumathi told the media that the first ATM was looted in the Nizampet village of Ramayampet mandal. “We think that nearly Rs 1.5 lakh was stolen from the ATM,” she said.
The second incident was reported at Shivvampet village of Pulkal mandal and police said the loss would be estimated after police estimations are confirmed by bank authorities.
SP Sumathi said the police suspects some habitual criminals. Ramayampet and Pulkal police have registered cases. Invetigations are on into the theft. The police is searching for clues at the spot of the crime.
Home guard’s wife held for AC theft
Two women, including a home guard’s wife, were arrested by Jubilee Hills police on Wednesday for allegedly stealing air-conditioners from a flat.
A. Kalamma, 22, and S. Aswini alias Vennela, 20, are believed to have stolen the air-conditioners from a home on road number 36, Jubilee Hills, on March 16.
Police arrested the duo after the victims filed complaints. They had also set up surveillance. The women were held while trying to sell the stolen article. Cops said that Kalamma’s husband, A. Pawan, was a homeguard.
