Hyderabad: Jewllery looted from two house break-ins
Hyderabad: Burglars broke into two houses at different places in the city and made away with gold and silver ornaments.
In the first case, complainant Mohd Aahil, a resident of Hyderguda, said that he had gone to Ajmer with his family on February 17.
Aahil returned home on Saturday and found the window pane of his house broken and his it was completely
ransacked.
He told the Narayanguda police that the lock on the almirah was broken and a gold chain and other ornaments weighing about three tolas and another 30 tolas of silver articles were missing.
In another incident, a burglar broke into a house during the absence of the residents at Ramachandra Reddy Nagar in Ramachandrapuram police limits late on Saturday night.
The burglars entered the house by breaking open the lock on the front door, opened the almirah and stole about 20 tolas of gold ornaments.
Police found while checking CCTV footage that a lone burglar had struck at the house. He had scaled the compound wall and entered the first floor of the building and broke into the house.
The burglar was wearing a white colour mask and attempted to destroy a CCTV camera.
