Kerala actress molestation: High drama prevails at ACJM court complex
Kochi: The ACJM court complex witnessed dramatic scenes as Pulsar Suni and Vijeesh appeared to surrender in the court on Thursday. The police team headed by Central police circle inspector A. Ananthalal first overpowered Suni and dragged him down to the vehicle parked in the entrance. But to their utter dismay the driver of the vehicle was missing. Mr Ananthalal himself then tried to drive the vehicle and sat on the driver seat. Seeing the confusion somebody managed to trace the driver, who, too, was chasing the second accused Vijeesh in the court room, and got him to back to the vehicle.
The police team initially thought that only Suni came to surrender and took a while for them to recognize Vijeesh who was with him. In the confusion, Vijeesh tried to flee the scene before cops succeeded in overpowering him. The people on the ACJM court premises including advocates were completely taken aback when they realised the most wanted accused in the state reached the spot without anybody noticing them. As the police team stormed the room of the magistrate, a section of advocates objected to it and even tried to lock the door of the room in an attempt to prevent the cops from taking away the culprits.
The police will have the dubious distinction that they managed to arrest the accused in a case thanks to the magistrate having the lunch, said an advocate mocking the police action. Both lawyers and the public filmed the entire police action in their mobile cameras and the same were circulated through social media. News channels also aired the same visuals shot by lawyers.
