Dancer Sharanya accuses director of misbehaving with her

Sharanya was asked to shoot an item song in a Kannada film and she was asked to come to Bengaluru from Mumbai.

BENGALURU: Mumbai-based model-cum-dancer Sharanya has accused sandalwood director Melwin Elpel of misbehaving with her when she asked for remuneration after shooting for a song. She has filed a complaint with the Jayanagar police in this regard on Friday.

Sharanya was asked to shoot an item song in a Kannada film and she was asked to come to Bengaluru from Mumbai. She told police that Melwin asked her to compromise instead of making any formal agreements.

She says that had she known this then she wouldn’t have come to Bengaluru in the first place. She alleged that he did not pay her a remuneration of Rs 15,000 per day for six days as agreed upon earlier.

She alleged that he did not make arrangements for food and made her stay with his friend’s family. He also chose another dancer for the song without informing her.
