Hyderabad: Ex-MIM worker hacked to death
Hyderabad: A 55-year-old man, a former party worker of the MIM, was hacked to death by three unknown men at Shastripuram in Mailardevpally on Saturday afternoon.
According to the police, the trio approached him on a bike and after a heated argument, attacked him, following which he bled to death on the spot.
According to the Mailardevpally police, the deceased, identified as Amjad Khan, used to run a plywood store at Shastripuram main road.
“Based on information received, the police officials rushed to the spot along with the CLUES team to gather evidences,” said the police inspector of Mailardevpally, K. Sattaiah Goud.
“The body was then shifted to Osmania General Hospital morgue for post-mortem. Our officials are analysing the CC cameras installed in the vicinity and surrounding areas to identify the attackers,” he added.
A case was booked under Section 302 (murder) of IPC and an investigation has been started.
