Hyderabad: Chain-snatchers robbed a 65-year-old housewife of her 3.5 tola gold chain at Chaitanyapuri on Thursday. Police said that S. Laxmi, a resident of Mohan Nagar, was robbed on Road #2 in Shrungeri Colony.
Two bikers drove towards her, snatched her 3.5 tola gold chain and fled. She said the suspects could be in their mid-twenties and were riding a black bike.
A robbery case was registered. “We are checking CCTV images for clues,” inspector Gururaghavendra said.
