Hyderabad: An audio clip of the conversation between Bhongir businessman Gampa Nagendra and slain gangster Nayeem — which was recorded in May — came out on Monday.
In his complaint on August 17, Nagendra had said he approached TRS MLC Nethi Vidyasagar for help after Nayeem threatened him for mon-ey. “But the MLC directed me to meet Nayeem personally and settle the issue.”
In the clip, Nagendra is heard requesting Naye-em to give him one month time to pay the '1 crore that he promised.
However, Nayeem had accused Nagendra of conspiring to get him killed by approaching the Chief Minister and other politicians. But he said that no one can save his life and warned that no one can save him.
“No one can do anything. You have two sons and I know their movements and they are at risk. You think I will be killed but remember I will not be killed.”
Explaining further, he said Nayeem threatened to kill him like he killed Congress MLA Komati-reddy Venkat Reddy’s son Prateek Reddy in an accident.
“You may think that I will be killed next month and you will be safe and you will have your money, but that does not happen.” said Nayeem.
In their 10 minute-long conversation, Nagendra, who called Nayeem, is heard requesting Nayeem to give him a month to pay the money he promised to pay Nayeem.
