Warangal: Girl students of the Government B. Ed College at Warangal have launched a protest claiming they were sexually harassed by the principal, Mr Sahadevudu.
Students boycotted classes on Friday demanding action against the principal. They claim a complaint letter sent to the district collector, Vakati Karuna, which had explained the problem, was ignored.
“He would say that we should behave with him like how we would with our husbands. He said we should all come to the college dressed up. He verbally abused us, made crude sexual remarks and threatens us with suspension whenever anyone spoke against him,” said P. Usha Rani, a student.
