Thiruvanthapuram: A sessions court here has transferred an insolvency petition filed by the Nirmal Krishna Chit Fund firm's key promoter K. Nirmalan to a Tamilnadu court on the grounds that the firm was situated in Tamilnadu. The court took the decision considering the demand of the Tamilnadu police team probing the case.
The court rejected the contention of the Nirmalan's lawyer that the case may be considered here. A court appointed receiver had already submitted a list of properties of Nirmalan in the city, which included a complex at Killipalam, a palatial house at Jagathy, flats and landed properties.
