Hyderabad: Siblings held for attack in bar

Hyderabad: Two siblings, both students, were arrested by the Medipally police for attacking an employee at a bar after he tried to pacify a quarrel between the duo and other customers in the bar.

Police said the two accused, D. Suresh, a B.Pharm student, and his elder brother, B.N. Kumar, an M.Tech student, came to the Sri Venkateshwara bar on Tuesday night. While drinking they picked up a fight with others who complained about the duo’s loud talking. K. Chandrakanth Reddy, an employee at the bar who intervened in the squabble, was hit with an alcohol bottle by the brothers and was injured.
