Hyderabad: The Commissioner’s Task Force (East) on Tuesday arrested one person and seized 23 kilograms of ganja from him.
Acting on a tip off, the team arrested Ketavath Heeralal, 23, from L.N. Magar while he was transporting the contraband in a car. He is a native of Pedduru Thanda in Ranga Reddy district. “The man procured the contraband from Gannu, a native of Dharakond village in Vizag district and brought it to the city. He sold about one kilogram of it for Rs 1,100 and was in search of customers to sell the rest of it,” said inspector the task force, S Mohan Kumar.
The accused has been handed over to Malakpet police.
